This game is very easy to play and understand. I would have been done sooner, but a family emergency came up and so there were days where I couldn't play. The game took me about a week to finish playing a few hours a day when I could. In most of the Nancy Drew games you play as Nancy trying to get clues, write them down, talk to witnesses and find out, but in Alibi in Ashes you're not only Nancy, but you are three other characters as well since Nancy and her friends are trying to figure out the case and her friends are trying to help clear Nancy's name since she's a suspect in this game. I'm definitely one that loves to solve mysteries in video games and with the Nancy Drew games you do just that. A perfect mystery game to pick since Halloween is a few weeks away. This time I got to play Nancy Drew's Alibi in Ashes games. I've reviewed for them several times over the past couple of years and absolutely love their games. You all know now my love for not only PC Games, but for games offered over at Big Fish Games.
I'm definitely one that still loves watching certain cartoons with or without my kids, teen television shows and not to mention video and PC games.
And at times I can definitely see what he means. There aren’t that many puzzles which could either be good or bad depending on your preference BUT it took me a weekend to finish (and yes i was playing for multiple hour chunks each day), which means the game can last pretty long.As my husband puts it I'm still a kid at heart. I would recommend it to anyone who was even the slightest intruiged by the story.Ī warning: there were points that I had to ask my boyfriend to look up some hints (I would have done it, but I didn’t want to accidentally spoil the story) but that’s just because I get frustrated easily. I was genuinely invested in the plot and I didn’t see the end coming.
The plot is so interesting and actually really well done. I usually use steam and app store reviews to pick which of the ND games I wanted to play and there wasn’t really any for this game, but I decided to risk it and pick it. This was the first of the newer ND games that I played and it brought back all the nostalgia from older games.
